Survey on Opinion Mining and Sentiment Analysis

Abstract -
A significant part of the behavior of gathering information is to analyze the thoughts of other people. Considering the availability together with the popularity of resources that have opinions like the online review sites, people are in a position to identify new challenges and opportunities. They use technology in seeking out information and understanding opinions of their counterparts. The upsurge of activities in the field of opinion mining and sentiment analysis has propelled the initialization of direct response to the flow of interest towards a new system dealing directly with opinions collected. The current survey discusses various techniques and methodologies promising to enable the information systems that are directly opinion-oriented. The focus of the survey relates to the methodologies that address new challenges that emerge because of the sentiment-related applications, compared to the existing traditional analysis of fact-based approach.

Analytical Customer Relationship Management for Garage Services Recommendation Using the Generalized Sequential Pattern Method

Abstract -
Analytical CRM refers to CRMs component needed by PT. Armada International Motor ( PT. AIM ) Indonesia in achieving customer knowledge that consists of customer behavior and profile from PT. AIMs garage database. Using data mining exploration held on garage data in order to find possible pattern as management precise decision making base. Generalized Sequential Pattern (GSP) Algorithm refers to sequential data mining algorithm which able in exploring data that able solving any time and taxonomy constraints. GSP Algorithm implemented in this study in order to find customer service pattern both sequentially and simultaneously. One advantage of service type patter founded that taken simultaneously is as service type recommendations base that can be run simultaneously at one service period. Furthermore, it may be used as promotion planning base, e.g. product bundling.

Quintuple Microstrip Patch Antenna with E-slot at Different Rotation Angles

Abstract -
This paper presents an effective designs procedure for a single and dual band microstrip antenna for S-band (2GHz, 2.29GHz ,2.31GHz, 2.36GHz, 2.37GHz, 2.38GHz, 2.60GHz, 2.63GHz, 2.67GHz) which are used in many applications. Quintuple patch antenna with E-slot (ellipse arms) is presented in this paper. This slot is rotate in five cases with the following angles (45,135,180,225 and 315) degree and in each step of rotation, the antenna parameters are studied. The minimum value of return loss among the whole cases is 34.18dB, achieved at 2.38GHz, when the maximum gain is 15dB. Other parameters results for the suggested designs such as voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), bandwidth and current distribution are also studied in this paper. The designs are simulated using “FEKO simulation software version (7.0)” and the proposed antenna is fed by a coaxial cable.

Detecting Human Face with Ridge-Valley-Normal Model

Abstract -
Detecting human face has been a popular but complex research topic which has successfully attracted the special attention of academic scholars and experts due to its widespread applications in practice. However, several existing methods fail to work with large-slanting angles of faces. To overcome such drawback, this study further develops the application of the ridge & valley characteristics on human face and incorporates them with the well-known facial normal model to effectively detect human face. Our proposed algorithm consists of two consecutive phases namely “learning phase” and “detecting phase”. It is found effective in the experimental test with a data set with numerous images collected from different sources. Moreover, the novel searching procedure not only results in a new set of faces but also displays an examined face corresponding to which face model, from which the actual direction of human face detected can be easily calculated.
